It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Health Sciences, Veritas University Abuja—a vibrant academic community dedicated to excellence in health professions education, innovative research, community engagement, and ethical leadership.

As a faculty founded on the core values of Veritas University—Excellence, Integrity, and Service—we are committed to producing globally competitive health professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, character, and compassion required to address contemporary healthcare challenges in Nigeria, Africa, and the wider global community.

Our academic programmes combine rigorous scientific training with practical clinical experience, evidence-based practice, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and inter-professional collaboration. We strive to create an intellectually stimulating environment where students develop not only professional competence but also critical thinking, leadership qualities, and a lifelong commitment to service to humanity.

The faculty currently offers degree programmes in Medical Laboratory Science and Nursing Science while advancing strategic plans to expand into Public Health, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and Environmental Health Science in line with national and global healthcare priorities.

We are actively fostering collaborations with national and international institutions to strengthen research capacity, attract competitive grants, promote translational research, and develop sustainable solutions to pressing public health challenges.
