Moses Atakpa B.A, M.Sc, PhD.
Senior Lecturer

Dr Moses Atakpa is a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Public Administration. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts BA (Hons) in Public Administration, Ahmadu Bello University (1985), Master of Science (M.Sc) in Public Administration, University of Nigeria Nsukka (2001), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science, Enugu State University of Science & Technology (2009). He also possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Education PGDE (2007).

Before joining Veritas University Dr. Moses Atakpa served in various positions including;

  • Head of Service, Kogi State Government, Lokoja, 2011 – 2017.              
  • Permanent Secretary, Board of Internal Revenue Lokoja, Kogi State, 2007 – 2011.
  • Director, (Admin and Finance), Board of Internal Revenue, Lokoja, Kogi State, 2003 – 2007.            

Dr Moses Atakpa is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria (FCE), Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (FCICN), Registered Administrative Manager of Nigeria (FRAMN), Certified Financial Analyst (FCFA) and Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).
