Francis Chidi UWAECHIA B.Sc, M.Sc, PhD.

Dr. Francis Chidi UWAECHIA was born on the 18th of January 1983 at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is an indigene of Isieke Village of Oshimili-South Local Government Area of Delta State Nigeria. He attended Ahmadu bello university Staff School (1990 – 1995), Demonstration secondary School, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1995 – 2001), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he bagged his B.Sc. Physics degree with second Class Honors (2002 – 2008), he then proceeded to serve his father land where he completed his National Youth Service (NYSC) in Imo State (2009). He as a vibrant young man then proceeded immediately with his master’s degree in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Radiation Biophysics (2010 – 2015). He then bagged a certificate in Education VACE (2017) at Veritas University, Abuja Nigeria. He immediately proceeded with his Ph.D. at Nasarawa State University, Keffi where he broke ground in research to bag a Ph.D. in Medical Physics in only Two years six months (2015 – 2018). He is currently a vibrant Lecturer and a mentor worthy of emulation at Veritas University Abuja. He is currently a member of the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP) and a member of the association of Medical Physicists Nigerian Branch. He has over ten (10) journal publications in the diverse areas of physics, also Twelve (12) conference publications he currently teaches both Postgraduate and undergraduate students at Veritas university, Abuja he has so far supervised three (3) Undergraduate projects. His hobbies are research, surfing the internet and playing Chess. He is happily married.
