Dr. Modestus Chidi Nsonwu obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Benin in 1998, Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Economics from Delta State University Abraka in 2003 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics from Delta State University Abraka in 2017. He is a responsible, intelligent and experienced Quantitative Economist with a demonstrated track record in problem solving and overcoming challenges. He possess strong technical skills with genuine interest in Econometrics Modeling and Analysis, Investment Banking and Risk Management. Highly proficient in the use of Econometrics packages such as Stata, Eviews, SPSS, Statistix, R and others in analysis involving Longitudinal data (Panel data), Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL), Vector Autoregression (VAR) Model, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), Structural VAR (SVAR), Factor VAR (FAVAR), Toda-Yamamoto(T-Y) and others. He has excellent motivational skills and always strive to achieve the highest standard possible at any given task. He is a member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and has so many publications to his credit. He is currently the Managing Director VUNA Enterprise ltd.
