Moses Tivlumun Korinya B.A, M.A.

Mr. Moses Tivlumun Korinya was born in Korinya, Konshisha LGA of Benue State on the 30th of March 1972. He was a teaching staff of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi between 1990 to 2013. During the duration, he served as a class teacher, Dean of Academic Studies as well as Headteacher at various times in various institutions before deciding to join Veritas University, Abuja in 2014 as Assistant Lecturer.

Moses Tivlumun Korinya after his administrative training at Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Benue State University, Makurdi. He also earned a Master’s degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies through the Post Graduate School of Benue State University, Makurdi. He is currently undergoing a Doctorate Degree programme in Military History/International Studies at the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, Nigeria.

Moses Korinya has Published a total of six (6) articles in peer-reviewed academic journals as well as a book chapter to his credit. He currently lectures at the Department of History and International Relations, Veritas University Abuja. By the grace of God, Mr Korinya has been promoted to the rank of LECTURER1 effective from October 2020.

His other responsibilities in Veritas University include: Examination Officer from 2015/2016 Session till date, Coordinator of Introduction to Humanities, Member of departmental Research and Publications Committee, Course Adviser to 200 Level as well as departmental Nominee for Online Exams among others too numerous to mention.

Moses Tivlumun Korinya has taught over ten (10) different courses mounted in the department of History and International Relations and at the General Studies (GST) Unit of the University.  He has successfully supervised fifteen (20) final year projects.

Moses is happily married to Patricia Iember Gbilah and the marriage is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
