A famous healthcare foundation, ProjectCure, has partnered Veritas University Abuja, to equip to capacity, the newly built medical centre in the University campus. The preliminary process for the supply of the medical facilities ended with a capacity assessment by the foundation’s team of assessors on the 12 of May, 2022.

The supplies would serve as forerunner, to the Medical College which is near completion, and would expand the capacity of the University’s Medical Centre, to attend to the healthcare needs of the students as well as the host communities and the neighboring villages.

ProjectCure is a non-profit and humanitarian relief organization based in Denver, Colorado-USA. It is one of the largest non-profit organizations in the world that delivers medical supplies and equipment to developing countries and war ravaged parts of the world. Mr. Jake Ryan Swanson, the consultant for ProjectCure spearheaded the assessment. He was deeply satisfied with the efforts of Veritas University in meeting the demands for medical attention in such an astounding magnitude. According to him, the standard of the newly completed medical Centre, has further increased his organization’s confidence in Veritas University, beyond what was known hitherto.


The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr.Prof. Hyacinth Ichoku, while receiving the team at the end of the two day assessment, maintained that the University operates a highly transparent and accountable policy. He further assured ProjectCure, of the readiness to accept new innovations that would enable the Medical Centre render services that meets global standards.
