Auxiliary Bishop of Makurdi Prays for Successful NUC Accreditation

The Auxiliary Bishop of Makurdi, Most Rev. Williams Avenya, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 prayed for the successful execution of the Programme accreditation exercise by the National Universities Commission. Most Rev. Avenya who is the Assistant Secretary of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria visited the Vice-Chancellor when the accreditation exercise was going on in the campus, and expressed his joy for witnessing the event. After a brief discussion with the Vice-Chancellor in his office, he also joined the NUC team at the University Library and prayed for the team and success of the exercise. His Lordship did not end at praying for the august visitors from the NUC, he also prayed for the students and staff of the University before leaving for the Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA) where he had Mass at 12noon.
