Abia Governor Rates VUNA Students High on Discipline
Abia State Governor, Theodore A. Orji has commended Veritas University for having the most disciplined set of students in the country and playing a major role in the human resources development of the nation.
Chief Orji who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Mkpa A. Mkpa, made the commendation during the Second Public Lecture series of the University which took place on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Obehie Take-off campus in Abia State.
The SSG noted that the University had no known evidence of cultism and corrupt practices and declared that due to clean health of bill which the university has, the Abia State Government was challenged and had resolved to return mission schools to their original owners by August 2012.
The public lecture titled: “Students are Our Renewable Resources” was delivered by Dr. Kole Shettima, the Country Director of MacArthur Foundation.
