2009/2010 Admissions to Full Time Degree Programmes

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who have obtained their JAMB results for the 2009 examination and have scored a minimum of 180 for admission to degree programme on a full time basis in the following Colleges and departments of the University.
 

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
 
WAEC, NECO: Five (5) credits at not more than two sittings, including English Language for all courses. For Management Sciences, candidates must have five (5) credits including English and Mathematics. For all Social Science courses, candidates must have a credit pass in Mathematics except for Political Science where a pass is acceptable; for Economics, a Credit pass in Economics is compulsory. A credit in Literature in English is required for English Language and Literary Studies.
 
METHOD OF APPLICATION
 
1.Whether or not you have filled Veritas University in your JAMB form, you can still apply to us by
   filling our application form.
2.Check out the courses available and the prerequisite qualifications
3.Ensure you have your JAMB result for 2009 and your WAEC/NECO results
4.Visit any GT Bank nearest to you.
5.Pay the sum of N5,500.00 into Veritas Account Name: Veritas University, Abuja, Account
  Number : 323259688110
6.When filling the GT Bank teller for payment, you must put your name in CAPITAL letters starting
   with your SURNAME followed by your FIRST name. E.g CHUKWUMA, RAMOND. Make sure
   you keep the copy of your teller.
7.Please allow at least 24 hours after paying your application fee before you commence your
   online application on the website (if you pay on Friday, please wait until Monday)
8.Go back to the website, check under STUDENTS and click on Application Form. Follow the
   guidelines as stated on the “How to Apply” icon. Please note that this process forms part of the
    post-UME assessment of your suitability for admission to the University as all processes
   in VERITAS are digital in nature.
9.Make sure, when you are completing your online application, that you have the following with
    you:Your GT Bank payment teller,Your school certificate examination details (exam number and
     exam centre),a digital (or scanned) passport picture of yourself which you will upload during
    your on line registration, a valid e-mail address. (You are advised not to use a shared e-mail
   address or another person's e-mail address as Veritas University will communicate with you via e-mail)
